PPCHS Media Center “Lunch @ the Library” 07-08
Pizza, soda and books, oh my!  Thank you to all the students and teachers who attended the “Lunch @ the Library” book discussions during the school year.   I think everyone enjoyed the amazing discussions, awesome company and delicious pizza!  We had four book discussion luncheons this year including two with the authors!  Thank you to young adult authors Neal Shusterman and Adrian Fogelin for joining us to talk about their books!   We read Downsiders by Neal Shusterman and The Real Question by Adrian Fogelin.  Thank you to Ms. Phelps, Ms. Laffin and Ms. Thomas for sponsoring book discussions!  Thank you to Ms. Hernandez and the PPCHS Science Club for sponsoring the book discussion for The Left Hand of Darkness, a science fiction novel by Ursula K. Le Guin.  If you missed the luncheons this year but would like to participate next year keep an eye on the Media Center bulletin boards in the cafeteria and the administration building.  See Ms. Oltmans in the PPCHS Media Center office on the second floor of the SW Regional Library if you have any book
suggestions for next year.  Check out the luncheon photos below!
