State University Application Deadlines
Attention Seniors: Check out the following available scholarship. Please pay close attention to all of the deadlines:
If you are thinking about playing College Sports at the Division I or II level, you must register with the NCAA clearinghouse.

The following institutions will be on our campus to provide an admissions information session with our 11th and 12th grade students. If you are interested in attending any of these sessions, please sign up in the guidance office. All of the sessions will take place in the 2nd floor classroom at the library.

The Pembroke Pines Charter High School Scholarship Program for Seniors will be open for the class of 2009 in January.
PPCHS Scholarship Program:
Jaguar Pride Award: awarded to a senior boy and girl who have consistently exemplified the qualities of a PPCHS student dedicated to the school’s mission, policies, and high academic standards.
Jaguar Perseverance Award: is awarded to a senior who has faced academic challenge and continually demonstrated outstanding commitment to both academic achievement and the school’s mission and policies.
Perfect Attendance Award: is awarded to students in the class of 2008 who have never been absent from school for the past academic year.
Learning Service Award: is awarded to the senior who has demonstrated outstanding and meaningful commitment by assisting members in the PPCHS community and the community at large.
Most Improved Student: is awarded to the senior who has shown the most improvement in academics, attitude, and behavior throughout the four years of high school.
Attention Seniors: Are you interested working in the aviation field as a pilot, mechanic or air traffic controller? Would you like to work on a Yacht and travel around the world? If you answered yes to either of these questions then maybe you should consider checking out the programs at BCC. BCC offers programs in aviation and marine engineering. If you would like more information about these and other programs, please stop by Mr. Greenbaum's office.
Attention Seniors: If you have a parent who is an active duty or reserve U.S. Marine, you could be eligible
for the Marine Corps Scholarship. You can check out details at www.mcsf.org "
College Prowler Essay Competition
Award Amount: $1,000
Deadline: Monthly

The College Prowler Essay Competition is available to high school and college students. You must submit a college application essay that is your original work and not previously published through print or electronic medium.
Also, you must be a legal resident of the United States to be eligible for this award.
